Best in Land, Do What Can
Joshua came up to me yesterday and had made these really awesome "cougar teeth." He was so proud of them and wore them the whole day.
Tried a new whole wheat bread recipe. It was very good. It's the only recipe I've tried that doesn't use any white flour at all.
There's Luke-a-nator being adorable. He loves this toy dinosaur. Take a look at the next few pictures to see what happens when he plays with it.
Love his face in this next picture. My kids have all done that same face one time or another at this age.
Luke isn't looking in this one, but I had to post it as well. Look at my beautiful daughter. Candace is really growing up too fast. Also, as a side note, check out Levi in the background. He's getting him a piece of that dinosaur as well.
These four kids are the cutest.

Mother's Day
"Conquering the Potty"
Anyways, I am definitely relieved to have this hurdle over with. I didn't think it was going to be this easy. Famous last words, right?

backyardigans
Newly mowed backyard. I love our backyard. After two years we finally have a fenced in backyard with grass! The kids have so much fun back here. See our little garden in the left corner?
Coolest mom ever! The kids worked so hard today I let them watch a movie in the tent.
A closeup of our garden. We planted tomatoes, pumpkins, cucumbers, peppers and we hope to get a zucchini plant as well.

byu baseball
Take me out to the ballgame ...
We had a great time at the BYU baseball game last night. The kids were very interested in the game and asked a lot of questions. I guess I should clarify. They were all interested except for Luke who was trying to get down and crawl/walk every where. Our family bonded and grew closer together with the exception of Levi who made many new friends outside of the family.
We all enjoyed our ballpark hot dogs.
Joshua was concentrating very hard on the game and would even pinch his cheek like this when he was really "in the zone." Joshua and Levi took turns repeating the plays to each other and laughing hysterically when a ball was hit foul. (The commentators had some fun sound effects for this.) We even got to have a close and personal encounter with Cosmo, although mom was not savvy enough to have the camera ready.
Levi would occasionally go far away and tell us he was changing his seat.
Dad got lucky and got a shirt that Cosmo threw. Rise and Roar!
I love the view from the baseball fields of the mountains.
Here is Levi with one of his new "friends" that he made during the game. I had to collect him several times.

monsters
We made these awesome monsters today. They were a lot of fun. It took two hours, but we went outside and played while we waited for the layers to dry. The boys LOVED making them. Joshua's is the red one and it's made from a Costco sized box of garbage bags. Levi's is the other one and it's made from a tissue box. We used egg cartons for the eyes.
Here's Levi with his creation.
And then here are more pictures of Levi, because, let's face it: Levi has been underrepresented as of late on this blog and he's so dang cute.
