what we learned in primary today

Candace: Why did Jesus get crucified?
Me: He died so that we can live with our Heavenly Father someday.
Candace: Oh, cause they didn't tell me that in primary. But they did tell me all the rest of Jesus.

Candace: Did you know that Moroni and his family spoke Spanish or some other language?

I am awesome! I made this cake for Joshua - everything out of scratch, even the cake. Did I mention that I am awesome? Okay so for a reality check, it looks like he has purple hair and no body, but it's pretty good for a first try.

It's obviously good enough to eat though.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

James and Candace put a lot of hard work into making our dinner like the Krusty Krab's menu from Sponge Bob Square Pants.
On the menu was seaweed salad, kelp shakes, crabby patties and shrimp fries. It tasted pretty good. We even made placemats.

For Family Home Evening a couple of weeks ago we reinacted the story of Ammon the Missionary.

All in all it was a pretty good production. Becky designed award winning costumes.

christmas and other stuff

Levi can sit in his high chair or booster seat now. I think he looks especially hilarious when he sits up to the table. His little head barely reaches over the edge.

Candace and Joshua loved the legos they received from their grandma. Here they both are next to their lego towers.

Levi always does this funny tipping thing when I try and get him to smile and he happens to be on his tummy. Cuteness.

This is Christmas morning. Levi is checking out the homemade pencil case Candace and mom made for him.

James and the kids on the plane ride home. Exhausting.

Joshua loves playing with his new Elmo gloves that he got from Grandma Taylor. He does the dance pretty well too.

Levi loves to eat, especially when he's being fed by his cute siblings.
