At the risk of inflating his ego, I'm going to share some information that I keep to myself more than I should. My husband, James, is
amazing. What prompted this post is the call I just received from a member of what I like to call, The James Taylor Fan Club. Now you may not have heard of this club, but it was started about seven years ago and consists of four people at the moment. Three of the members are not aware it exists but they meet all the requirements and so membership was extended automatically. To be in this club, you are required to compliment James at least weekly. These compliments may take the form of an email, a comment on this blog, a facebook message, a phone call, a letter/email, or a personal conversation with myself or James. This morning the compliment took this form, "We just love sitting behind you in church. Your husband is very good with children. Is he a school teacher?" This past Sunday another member contributed in the following way, "I just have to tell you that it is a pleasure to watch your family during sacrament meeting. Your husband is amazing. I watch him and he interacts with every single one of your children during the meeting and is always attentive to their needs. He isn't just concerned with his needs." Many of these compliments have been given in the past and I encourage more of you
closet James Taylor Fans to speak out. Don't be afraid to voice your feelings on this matter.
