Cute cousins.

Even cuter brother and sister.

Levi smiles more and more everyday, that is when he's not sleeping. He's 3 months old and he's still sleeping tons.

Joshua and Pierce got the chance to sit in Wymount's golf cart.

These are delicious calzones that I made earlier this week. My neighbor, Emily has an AWESOME recipe. Thanks!

Candace's aunt Shannon made this huge cookie for her. Lucky girl.

take a look...

Here, take a look at Candace. This is the last picture of her taken with her gorgeous long blonde hair that I love. It's been growing for 4 years and I was quite proud of the product. However, Candace decided during "quiet time" Friday afternoon that she wanted short hair.

Here is what she did to the front:
Here are the sides. You can see the long hair that she wasn't able to reach.

Here is the pile of hair I collected around the living room when this was all done.

James took her to a salon and here is the result:

And when Joshua saw us taking all these pictures of Candace, he exclaimed,
"My Turn!". So we took a picture of him and one of the group.

greek festival

We went to the Greek Festival that they have every year in Salt Lake City. They have good food and fun dancing. The kids had a great time. They especially loved the carnival rides. Ok, so maybe Candace loved them and Joshua was terrified.

Look at that Face on Joshua.

counting to josh

I was sitting on the couch nursing Levi and all of a sudden I hear Joshua next to me count from 1 to 12. It was very shocking. I think he knows how to because he hears me counting to 10 for Candace to obey, but I'm not sure. We can't get him to say 4 or 5 anymore though. One cute thing: Joshua seems to think 12 is Josh, so listen for that. Enjoy.

first days of preschool

Candace goes to the BYU Preschool from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 till 11:00 AM. She loves it! Her teacher is Mr. Brad. Every morning she walks to school with James. On the first morning we all walked together. She's getting to be such a big girl.

candace's third soccer game

We were lucky to thave Grandpa Wayne and Grandma Gail come to Candace's soccer game. We have a blast watching the girls play. A funny story to illustrate how hilarious sports at this age can be: James is the assistant coach and he helps out during the games. He tries to give each of the girls equal playing time. At one point during this game all of the girls were so tired he was having trouble keeping them in the game. The other coach called over to James, "Coach, we need two more girls on the field!" James replied, "I know! I can't get any of them to go out there." It was pretty funny.

Grandpa and Levi

Candace is on the far right. I thought this was perfect. I got her doing her shoulder shrug that she does one hundred times a game.

Joshua is ready to play. We spend most of the games trying to keep him off the field.

Shannon has also been able to come to Candace's games. It's great to have her there. She is a huge help with a certain one-year-old.

our pirate

Joshua falls down and gets bhurt more than any kid I know. These are his battle wounds after only a couple hours awake.

Candace and Joshua love to empty the toys out of the hope chest and put pillows and blankets and play house.

art projects

These are pictures of some art projects we've been doing lately. The first is egg carton pumpkins. Candace painted them and we glued all the parts on. The second project was grating crayons to get crayon shavings and them melting them with an iron between paper. It turned out pretty well and the kids had a blast with these projects.

The final project - Egg Carton Pumpkins

Check out that kool-aid smile.

test for the grandparents

Get your pens or pencils ready. It's time for a test. Do you know your grandchildren? The next 11 pictures are either of Levi or Joshua. Get a piece of paper and a pencil and record your guesses. Then check the comments section to correct your test. No cheating, Grandpa Taylor. Good luck ...

This concludes the test.
Scroll down to see some pictures from today.
Do you think Levi's face shows just a little concern in this next picture?
